We have chosen as a group to create our music video to Sara Bareille’s song ‘Gravity’. As a group we have numerous songs in which we liked and had many ideas for but after listening to all the songs we liked this one came out on top. When we took the time to listen to the image we felt these lyrics created imagery in our heads of things we could create and do just from listening to the song’s lyrics. However shortly after choosing the song we quickly realised that the song had already got a music video. So on behalf of our group I emailed Sara’s management and explained what the song would be used for and what we were aiming to do and shortly after we got a reply confirming that we were fine to use the song. Other positive qualities about this song is that the speed of the song is fairly slow for the majority which will make it easier for our singer to sing along to and also easier to create movement that fits to the music.
